Outerra VS Microsoft Flight Simulator

Hello.I have a question for developers.In flightsim community we have bestseller game - Microsoft flight simulator X.Very similar open world.Quetion is  - have Outerra engine the technical capabilities to become a simulator like MSFS?

Outerra was designed from the start with use in simulators in mind, since they usually require open world based on real data. Not just flight simulators, but also all other types of simulators that require also a higher ground level detail, such as train or cars.

The engine is still in alpha though, we need to implement a couple of components for it to become fully usable for simulators. Once that is done I'm certain there will be a flight simulator based on Outerra.

Thanks for answer Cameni.I hope one day it will be a good flight simulator.For now on my Intel Core 2Duo E6850 3.0 Ghz Nvidia Geforce 460 - it running smooth and looking great.

If i can fly my loveld PMDG 747 realistically in Outerra i will burn the dead MSX. I realy pray for implemented realtime weather.

If you want more from a simulator using Outerra then prepare to leave some things behind as new technology advances then legacy methods will not always be supported. I'm sure though that the Outerra Importer will accommodate quite well.
