Skybox turns crazy when close to the sea-level
« on: January 23, 2015, 06:54:46 pm »

Great engine, great software... just bought, amazing job guys.

I have only one trouble, when I get close of coast, the sky gets crazy. It becomes a pixellated night sky even during the day time. But the objects are being lighted as being in daytime (correctly). When I'm topographically higher regions I have no problem and the sky looks believable.

Any tip?

Hi, your picture's link is down. And I couldn't address the "old post" that helped you.

In any cases, I'm attaching my issue:

Regards.

Looks like heavy fog (for some reason, some stars using HDR are buggy with fog). Go to the environnemental settings, and set the fog level to 0 in the dedicated tab.
If it's already at default settings, it may be related to an outdated driver.
