Some comparisons oc P3D, FSX. And the new Dovetail Flight school. Interesting that Outerra was brought into the subject. http://www.avsim.com/topic/483730-dfsp3dflightfsx-comparison-screenshots/

Outerra/TitanIm/Calytrix.......

http://us7.campaign-archive1.com/?u=41dfa57fb4b36bc68cf3e94a8&id=0ac724682a

I'm guessing this isn't something to get in on unless you're really officially in on military sim stuff for your real world needs?

Or could this be treated like any other Early Access program?

Who knows? I suspect the only important question they might ask is, how much money do you have?

The cost to join the EAP is USD$35,000, which is a significant discount on the regular cost of the licenses, and the included training is essential (licenses will be provided at the end of the course).

At this tag price, you're sure only companies will enter the program and especially companies really involved in this kind of simulator. It's not like a Photoshop licence they would buy because it could be usefull, at this level you can be sure they already have the hardware (cockpits, VR) :)
They talked about public licenses in the website, but I guess it won't be available until the program is already stable and solid content price, but you can probably expect a significant price, like it is the case with the public version of VBS.
What these companies buy at this price is mostly an advanced tech support for their projects integration into Titan ("Influence into the items and prioritisation of our development roadmap").

Wow...

I'm simply blown away, this looks incredible, the possibilities of Outerra are really immense! I only wish I could have all these assets to play around with and make scenes like these screens but then I went on sites like Turbo Squid and saw how expensive a single good looking 3D model of a warship or helicopter can be and besides I wouldn't even be able to import it myself without errors! and a lot frustration based on my past experiences. But it's good to see what the future of Outerra might be like, even if this Titan simulator will remain closed source and not available to the general public.

This video in the portfolio page is from a very old OT build (no biomes + single tree model).
