This is so weird. I mean, the project is really interesting, the flights dynamics seems equal to FSX, something solid for a beginner oriented sim, the price is perfect.

But I still can't understand these rendering settings. It looks like someone took a sharp image from FSX, and de-saturated some colors while boosting the blue hue...
This is a screenshot I took from a 1080p youtube video, so there is compression involved but I still can't understand how you can achieve something like that. It reminds me of the image quality of movies screeners:



Seems like they have a very limited margin of improvement on a graphical standpoint (especially if they need to stay mid-config pc friendly, as they are aiming for this market, so no huge textures). As a result, they use post-treatment effects and the result is what it is now, because they boost some elements to make it look modern/new.

Honestly, as far as I'm concerned its FSX with some effects added. And yes, probably pretty cool for the market its aimed at.

But still FSX.

With 64bit, I did expect much nicer textures, though.
