You're always producing nice models.
So besides the outerra model could you also share the blender file ? It will enable others to build on your vehicles to add features like opening doors, collision , damage modelling, adding more details to interior etc...

I don't think I will share blender files for already published vehicles.
But I am very happy for someone to join the work in progress/unreleased projects

Thanks . I will probably add doors to the model and to the script so that we can have the first car with openable doors.

Announcement:
After creating 3 relatively low polys vehicles to get me used to using Blender again (after such a long hiatus from 3D modelling!), I am now moving onto creating high poly vehicles (so expect large files, smooth exterior and more detailed interior)
Vehicle production time would definitely lengthen.

That's great news ! Low poly models are nice and useful but mostly as scenery decorative elements, or as test meshes for experimenting but we all love to drive high quality vehicles with detailed interiors and realistic sounds ..after all we want to experience outerra as some kind of simulation of the real world

Totally agree. But like I said earlier, I had not touched Blender for almost 2 years. So I wasn't ready for large scale project until I get used to Blender again =D

I know this is quite late, but where did the 3d model come from?

I made that myself on Blender

Okay, cool. So if I check the model against the one made by Mythbuster for his BeamNG mod, the two models shouldn't be identical, correct?

Depends on what you mean by identical. The models would have different poly counts, quality may be the same or one better than the other (I don't have BeamNG so I don't know what the quality of the model is), the models would have different texture. But ultimately our models would be very similar because they are based on the real world model.
