Title: Sequentially leveling buildings
Post by: PTTG on March 17, 2012, 07:44:14 pm
I've noticed a problem when leveling several buildings at once. If you select a building, level the ground under it, then do the same to a new building, then the first building loses its level ground.

The only workaround I've found is to switch to the roads panel, close it, and then re-open the building panel and select the new building.

Yes, I can corfirm. I just came across the same. Thanks for the tip of switching to the road panel  :) I always closed the game and reopened it to make sure that the previous settings were conserved...

Known issue.  And the only current work-around.

Also, any road bisecting another road is sometimes un-selectable (and goes the same for the "level" under the buildings, which is nothing more than a modified road ... go into road editor, select the leveled ground, and you can modify it there).  My work-around has been to alter the nodes so that they don't come close to one another, and then modifying the road I want to modify, and moving the modified road back into place.  A bit of a hassle, but it works.
