Anyone who wants to see a certain vehicle in Outerra, feel free to post here. :)
Let's start with me. Could we have a Spitfire Mk Ib?

Or maybe a Spitfire Mk XIVe with clipped wings?

Well if someone makes us the model .. and then a JSBSim flight dynamics model .. well then something could be done about it :)

That's a pretty easy model to make, i could probably hammer one out in about a week.
Not that it would take an entire week of working on it, but just a couple of hours through out the entire week cause of limited time thought out the day.
Probably couldn't do the jsbsim dynamic model because i don't know what that is.
I would want to see a good luxury off road vehicle like this Concept Range Rover:

It would be pretty cool to ride around in the wilderness with style.
I've d actually been working on this vehicle for awhile on my spare time, its looking pretty good.

Flight dynamics model for the plane, but I think it exists already for Spitfires in Flightgear.
For land vehicles we need to make such configuration ourselves, that would at least allow defining suspension and engine parameters.

Will the demo be open enough to add custom vehicles?

Will the demo be open enough to add custom vehicles?
Probably not in the first version of the demo, there are too many things to be decided/implemented in this regard yet to make it open in a sufficient way.
But we are currently working with some people to extend the number of supported vehicles, we are mainly interested in getting more vehicle classes in.
But if someone is willing to provide a good model of a vehicle for what we can get the simulation part easily, we can try to include it. The simulation part means that either there exists JSBsim dynamics model for it (aircraft) or it's a car with supported suspension type (we are currently missing support for rigid axles for older trucks, but it's possible we would add it if something nice shows up)

I have few aircrafts I did for FS9/FSX, I have small diesel shunter too if you'd be interested :)

Exterior is already done, I have to make cab view, and it will be finished.
I'll be unavailable until next saturday though :(

Hi Cameni,
Will the aircraft be treated like ground vehicles on the ground in terms of suspension etc. to allow for proper simulation of wieght & balance, reaction from suspension on landing etc.?
Andrew.

Yes the suspension forces are modeled too, and fed back as external forces to JSBsim.

Looks good, we are already toying with railroad stuff so we may include that one too.

No haste, we have only so much time for these so it won't be incorporated very quickly anyway.
