Title: Offline licence for Anteworld?
Post by: DeltaSim on March 17, 2012, 08:34:52 am
Hi,

you might have read before that I want to use Outerra for my hang gliding sim. Problem: The setup is in a cellar where I don't have internet access. Is there a possibility to license Anteworld offline? I have a license right now, but would also be willing to spend some extra bucks for this. They'll be worth it anyway :-).

Cheers, Martin

Well, we have a version for closed military environments, but that's a different league :)
And a different app & features.

Wouldn't it be simpler to setup a wifi or drag a cable there?

Sure, but I don't live there, I only have access to the cellar. Anyway, I'll try to find a workaround.

I demand secret military spec outerra now!

Have they imported any different models/vehicles in? Tanks and such? Would a screenshot break protocol and cause Seal Team Six to raid the compound you and angry are hiding in?

Actually, the Apache model came from that :)

But otherwise it's so secret that even we didn't see the output. Or, it may not be that secret, but the basic level requires you must be a US citizen anyway :-X

Them foreigners. When our contact in US did a small survey, at the very beginning, as for how "Outerra" sounds, one mil guy didn't have clue what terra means, and it sounded to him like terrorists out there :D

You guys do realize you're all now on the Department of Homeland Security's watch list, right?

Oh frak!  I posted to this thread.

@DHS: I was just trying to inform the misguided terrorists that they were being watched, and that their innocent questions could be construed as dangerous.  I'm seriously a loyal citizen of the US, and appreciate all that our armed services have done, even if I don't agree with some of it.

*Edit* Oh frak #2.  [runs and hides in a basement, refusing to answer the door]

Yea, and joking is prohibited. It's the worst weapon the terrorists have got.
Makes me wonder how Jagerbomber managed to survive till now :)

Hmm. He's an agent!  :o
