Great conversion! It should be able to reach that altitude. Did you tried to adjust the mixture to maintain high RPMs?
My only complaint is that it does not like flying above 9100 ft. But hey, its a great flying and looking little plane.
Keep it up!
Glad you like it guys! :)That did the trick!Great conversion! It should be able to reach that altitude. Did you tried to adjust the mixture to maintain high RPMs?

That did the trick! You're welcome. :)
Never really messed with mixture, so did not think about that. Thanks.
Wow! Congratulation Levi, it's an other great addition to the Outerra fleet!Thank you Acetone!
You did it again! Wonderful! Thanks!;D
You learn something new every day! ;)That did the trick! You're welcome. :)

Mixture Control is quite important on piston powered aircraft engines, as it sets the amount of fuel added to the intake airflow. At higher altitudes, the air pressure (and therefore the oxygen level) declines so the fuel volume must also be reduced to give the correct air/fuel mixture.
Your models are always impeccable and leave you speechless ... but this can give something more ...
Thanks Levi.
I must confess, I too fell in love with this little bird and so I did a try for a repaint.Great repaint 2eyed!
Thank you Levi and creator C. Richardson from classicwings.net!

Do you plan to make it available for the rest of us as well? ^-^
If there is any interest, I could do that, even though it's far from being perfect.I must confess, I too fell in love with this little bird and so I did a try for a repaint.Great repaint 2eyed!

looks awesome, do you have any plans for military planes? Thanks!
We need some "markings" support, once MP works, there will be air-shows, teams and individual identification markings needed. 8)Maybe that won't be too hard to accomplish I think...
I agree, wonderful plane :)Nice picture!
I love the fact that the head of the pilot is moving depending on the plane orientation !

How did you know it? I'm currently working on one! I've recently got permission to port some great military planes and helicopters. ;) :)
Dammit Levi... ;)Thank you!
I think at this rate you could be the official plane dev for Outerra :p Keep up the good work man!
oh man.. any hints on what they are? :)Alright, I'll name the most relevant ones by their role:
Need a quad copter if possible.I don't have any quad copter yet. If I find one, you'll be the first to know about it. ;)
I want a Veritech Fighter.........Lol, does that thing even exist? :o :))

Oh god, yes on the Veritech :D
Also, I think I know what planes/choppers they are. For most of them.
- F/117 Nighthawk (http://www.dolphin.fr/web/SoC/images/support/support_policy/try_and_compare.png)
- F35 Lightning or an F/A-18 Hornet (https://cdn3.iconfinder.com/data/icons/musthave/256/Delete.png)
- F22 Raptor (http://www.dolphin.fr/web/SoC/images/support/support_policy/try_and_compare.png) OR a PAK-FA (that one was too easy ;) ) (https://cdn3.iconfinder.com/data/icons/musthave/256/Delete.png)
- SR-71 Blackbird (http://www.dolphin.fr/web/SoC/images/support/support_policy/try_and_compare.png)

- AH-1 Cobra (http://www.dolphin.fr/web/SoC/images/support/support_policy/try_and_compare.png) (can't be the Apache, we already have one ;) ) OR a KA-50/52 (https://cdn3.iconfinder.com/data/icons/musthave/256/Delete.png)

Woah...amazing work mate and thank you very much! Lovely plane. ;)Thanks Foxiol! :)
A Pak-Fa ? ... theyre still prototypes, and just have a SU-35BM cockpit (exept the HUD instalation), and final design wont be much known till its officially taken into service ...Very nice plane, but I don't have this one...

best info about it (doe in russian, if ya can understand) : http://militaryrussia.ru/blog/topic-254.html (http://militaryrussia.ru/blog/topic-254.html)
... also, wont there be some " plane-eater " ? :DI do actually have one of those, it's called C-5 Galaxy. The cockpit is not a top quality, but maybe I'll convert it later. ^-^

You dont really think to have an CaspeanSeaMonster with a cockpit, dont you ? :D You dont ask about that babe to import, ya do it ! =DWell, we may need support to land on water for that machine, it doesn't have a landing gear... =|

That's a good idea, I haven't thought about it!Well, we may need support to land on water for that machine, it doesn't have a landing gear... =|
With the upcoming support of collision mesh, it may be possible with KW71 water mesh :)
Is there any exposed property value within outerra that indicates the land type you're touching? Not as far as I know, but I guess that feature is planned.

Hi Levi, I like your project, but ... a "bush" plane would be perhaps the best aircraft in the "rough" Outerra world, being able to land almost everywhere ...
I know the C172 and other Outerra models can do that, but it's not realistic ... it would become more realistic with a bush plane with big "tundra" tyres
I'm thinking of a Cub, a Husky, a C185 or a L-5 or L-19 ... or something similar ;)

... youre wrong pal. It doesnt need a new plane. It just needs some bigger tires and .... ROCKETS ! =D

Hi Levi, I like your project, but ... a "bush" plane would be perhaps the best aircraft in the "rough" Outerra world, being able to land almost everywhere ...I have the Corben Baby Ace from classicwings.net (http://www.classicwings.net/) and I definitely plan to port it, though I don't know exactly when I'll do it.

Are those really the standard wheels ?No, those are the Tundra wheels adler58 is asking for. There's a version with the normal ones too:
