Title: How long is this going to take for clouds?

Subject speaks for itself.  I saw images about clouds a year ago.  At least give me a way to add an object large enough.  When an object is too big you can not select it.  You can not scale it.  you can not edit it.

Hmmmmmmmm. there was once an Independence day city destroyer model. There must have once been some way to select things that large.....

I never figured out how to select it, but I think someone else did.
