Title: can't login Anteworld

Hello every one,
  I'm a user from china, Last year we bought the full version of Outerra Anteworld.
  We used to login the Anteworld by Green VPN.But the Green VPN server was shutdown before long.
  We tried to use the other VPN,Lantern, Shadowsocks and so on.But there is no one works.  :(

  could you recommend a product to help us login the Outerra Anteworld?

Unfortunately I don't know about VPN services that would work from China, but let me check if anything changed with regards to the firewall. The problem is that GFW filters everything going to Google Apps ...

Strangely，I can visited google by shadowsocks or lantern except login Anteworld. :facepalm:

It's a different site. You need to be able to access https://outerraworld.appspot.com

I logied in my account through the page you gave me,then the browser redirected to this page.

On the other hand I tried to log in the Anteword app ,It shown me "login failed".

what's the matter?

my account name is "cowboylym"
I'm sure the password is correct.
could you check my login logs, find out why my account login failed.

Normal logins from the game show up as coming from "Safari" browser, however your attempts were only from Chrome 64, 67 or Firefox, i.e. from external browsers and not from the in-game one. For some reasons the requests from in-game are blocked and they don't reach our servers at all.

But the "safari" browser is on macOS, my system is win10, could you change the request authentication accept chrome  firefox or IE

No, that's just how the in-game browser identifies itself, it's actually a Chromium-based browser.

How are you connecting now? Is there any reason why some processes would be able to connect through VPN but not outerra.exe?

I'm connecting by shadowsocks app, the vps is established by myself on https://bandwagonhost.com/ (https://bandwagonhost.com/).
Could it be that the vps change the flag "Safari"?
But last year I could login when I connected by Green VPN（the only one worked） .

I have on idea...

Hi, cowboylym! Do you have a firewall? I had problems connecting when I used Comodo Firewall, because the .exe was not in the allowed apps (I had to manually change permissions on every update).

It's possible that the built-in Chromium doesn't support socks5 proxy.

I found the reason.
As you saied, It doesn't support socks5 proxy. I Logged in the app by ExpressVPN successfully.
