I'm not sure how to install the Development versions manually. Can you give a step by step instructions on how to properly do a manual installation for us new here. Thanks

It's nothing special, just download the installer from http://www.outerra.com/forum/index.php?topic=1146.0 (http://www.outerra.com/forum/index.php?topic=1146.0) and then run it. You can simply install it over the old version with default choices in the installer dialogs.
It complicates when you want to have both versions installed at once, but since the new one is getting more stable and will merge into the main line soon anyway, you may just ignore the old one.
