Title: center of mass is considered at 0,0,0 instead of where the aircrft.xml tells it?
Post by: krz9000 on October 20, 2012, 04:10:22 pm
i placed my plane with the nose at 0,0,0 and entered a CG of something like -2,0,-0.3   . the plane gets placed correctly but as soon as i start the simulation it tips on its nose as if the CG is at 0,0,0. if i start in  midair the plane just nosedives :(

i red in a different threat that there are issues with the CG. do i have to move my plane to put 0,0,0 to the CG? or maybe i did something wrong somewhere else in the config? im confused  :o

This same issue is probably plaguing the land vehicles as well. I asked Cameni to fix the CG on the 8x8 and he said he either couldn't find where it was hard coded or something. Not that I took that as an excuse just another issue needing to be resolved in beta.
