Title: WARNING: can't connect to www.outerraworld.com When Checking for a new version

I am trying to play the demo but when the "Checking for a new version ..." comes up nothing happens.  I got the console window up and it keeps saying "WARNING: can't connect to www.outerraworld.com (http://www.outerraworld.com)."

Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it.

Are you using a proxy server when connecting to internet? Proxy servers aren't yet supported for download of terrain data, it needs a direct connection.
