Title: Camera Stuck
Post by: Plainview on June 25, 2013, 11:34:50 pm
Hi, I recently updated my graphics card from amd.

When I tried to start the game, the world loads, but my camera just stays freezing in the air.

I cannot move up or down, left or right.

I can however change my base speed but I just do not move.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and encountered the same problem.

Thank you

Please try deleting the cfg files in the Outerra data directory (by default in c\users\yourwinname\outerra\ but you could have changed it during the installation).

HI tried that and it still won't work.

It worked fine(albeit really slow, and low fps) until I updated my graphics card from amd.

Now I just have a black screen.

I still have the menu at the top though

So you have deleted all 3 cfg files, right?

Can you upload the eng.log file?

This is what the file looks like

and no I will do that.

How do I upload that file?

Sorry for the annoyance. I just think this is one of the most amazing concepts ive ever seen in gaming and I really want to give it a try.

Windows hides the extensions by default, the log file is the "eng" one that has "Text Document" in the third column.
Delete all which have "CFG File" there.

MSAA warning - just switch to FXAA antialiasing in the graphics settings.

Hm, nothing special in there. Did you also try the fullscreen mode?

Yes I tried that.

I finally uninstalled everything. Even the amd updates and then reinstalled the game and it works like it did before. Just really low fps.

7660G is fairly below the min specs, so it's not surprising.
Try turning off the 3D grass and lowering the terrain quality.
