Title: Aileron Axis not working for my Flight Yoke
Post by: KelvinNZ on March 12, 2012, 02:39:53 am
Hi devs,

My precision flight control yoke aileron axis is not being found by Outerra. All other buttons and elevator axis work even with my other PFC controllers. See attached ENG log file for details.

Have you tried to set the axis in main menu/controls?

Yes it won't recognise the axis. I don't know of anywhere else to se the controls

Any ideas guys?

I know only one place to set the controls that's in the menu where it also has terrain and graphics options.

One other thing, when I set my throttle and change control buttons/axis when flying it will lock up the aircraft and I have to spawn another one to get going. Only that the change doesn't always take effect.

I do realise this is only Alpha. Controllers are very important no matter which ones are used. Thanks in advance.

Kelvin

Angrypig's making a workaround for devices that do not implement the standard correctly. Similar to this issue (http://www.outerra.com/forum/index.php?topic=734.msg9327#msg9327).

That's great to know. Angrypig, your a legend! Not forgetting you too Cameni!!

One thing i have also noticed is that for the aircraft i am only able to use one toe brake axis. Can I assume that left and right toe braking is not implemented yet because of other priorities? will it be implemented in the future?

Would there be an ETA on the fix/workaround for this
