Here is an excellent video intro showing the woods around the Nurbergring.

Grand Cherokee SRT8 laps the Nürburgring in 8:49. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4jqkv-iwDM#ws)

So... Can the 3d Trees fill in this crazy?

I've asked Cameni something similar Zeos. For our map of Middle Earth the forests are kinda important to the visual appearance. It'd be great to have an interface/feature allowing for greyscale density maps. White = max density, black = no trees so you could place forests where you wanted. Cameni said that he had plans for a climate editor or interface and that forests would problaby be the first on the list.  :)
