What do you think about posting some Outerra wallpapers here? Here is the first sample in 1920x1080 resolution.

Excelent! Now my Outerra backgrounds don't have to be pixely!

Looks nice! Keep making more wallpapers, I'm interested in using one or more of them. :)

Yes please. If you take request, I'd like a shot like this,
(http://imgur.com/5JXdU.jpg)
something that shows off the awesome rock details you guys have. If possible from inside the cessna cockpit (though don't block the view totally of course), with a little bank or something to make it look dynamic.
That'll be awesome :-)

HRM.. Nobody uses TV's for there desktop. How about some 1920x1200's
Actually. What is the highest resolution screenshot you can currently produce? I would be very interested in a few say 6-7MP shots. Even rough ones. Oh and I Love the sunsets

These are 1920x1080, but we can set a higher resolution in windowed mode. But currently there's a bug with screen capture in such setting, after it's fixed we'll be able to do higher resolutions than our monitors can handle as well.

Incredible... I actually thought 1, 2 and 3 were photo's until I had a closer look!
That blue-ish haze in the distance is very convincing.

Umm .. probably only during or after the weekend. Directing and editing takes more time .. and mixing the right sound track will not be easy either.
But it's shaping up nicely :)

I love the work from outerra the screenshot with the sunset is the background for my desktop ;)
I look forward for the demo ;D

Is it possible to show a night-shot already? or is everything 100% dark (no ambient from stars or something?)
-
...very nice Screens. 8-)
I think the rocky areas are a bit to red.

Currently the ambient isn't right so it's 100% dark, but the fix is in the near plan.

Yes, the rock texture is for one particular area but since there's just a single rock type used everywhere, it's everywhere :)

And one for ZeosPantera :)
That is stupendous. Thank you.

It looks fantastic indeed. The color transitions and fog and... just... EVERYTHING... match perfectly!!!
Fix the nightside quick, i want some night shots with roads and 500 lightposts (damn that forward rendering :P)...

It is so nice the fact that clouds don't exist has passed right over all the people I have shown it to.
Once realistic clouds come into it there may be nothing to stop outerra.. nothing.

Hate bumping a thread where I was last poster but could you take a few screenshots of the Grand Canyon? I should be filled with pine trees but I don't care.
Thank you.

The sunset wallpaper is incredible. You can smell the warmth of the air and feel the heat. Never seen anything like it before. A feast for the eyes.

Actually, as Oleg Maddox (IL-2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IL-2_Sturmovik_%28video_game%29) guy, but also a pro photographer) pointed out already, the colors aren't entirely right there, as human eye perceives the white differently in these conditions. As a result the sky gets a greenish shade that we don't see normally. The colors will have to be corrected but we have yet to find out how exactly.
