I thought I'll do even a thread on where players, designers, and other developers can add their finished models for the new importer so that all can use the models.

What´s the best online storage place?
I got loads of buildings, and can make new on demand, but it would be nice if this site could host, I´ll donate if some money needed.

Thread is quite difficult to post and find a necessary models. I think it's just a right time for a page where the models can be uploaded in different categories and have a search bar (+ comments to each model).
Other way after each posted model on forum there will be to much discussion and finally it will be too hard to find the link itself.
Apart the models there could be uploaded levels (terrain modifications).

Hrm.. I guess a photo upload renamed to match the DAE would be good too. I will find some.

If ok with untextured models I´ll start uploading tomorrow, but only problem is keeping the material definitions!
Perhaps it´s best to keep the textured part as it is, and user can exchange the DDS ver in fav software?
It will be simpler when the importer do automatic convertion, then I´ll dump Some beer or whatever is angrypigs fav on him :)

I have no idea.. Never did this before. I am getting a list of contributors on the side so I guess once in that folder just use the uploader in the corner. .. if it is there.

I have no idea.. Never did this before. I am getting a list of contributors on the side so I guess once in that folder just use the uploader in the corner. .. if it is there.
It´s just to drag´n drop, worked fine.

That bridge looks like a pain in the *BiP* to texture. ;D
As an advice small parts work better. :P
And you need to have a better transition zone, on that model you will probably need to move it at millimetric values to blend each end without noticing the loop.

I think it's a bug in rendering the objects that are underwater, there seems to be no attenuation from water applied, only the reflection from water surface.

Than the soviet Buran and Mryja will be a good choice. As far there was the crew-less autopilot flight, would by better to not mess up at manual atmosphere reentrance. : P ... there is a thread potent fot that : http://www.outerra.com/forum/index.php?topic=609.msg15479#msg15479 (http://www.outerra.com/forum/index.php?topic=609.msg15479#msg15479). Im looking forward for his project too for the same reasons.
