Title: Naboo N-1 StarFighter 2.0
Post by: adriaan on June 12, 2013, 04:33:36 am
This is a slightly improved version of my Starfighter.
-fixed the hole under R2
-adjusted the bump and specularity maps
-made some changes to the matlib
Use 100% throttle to lift off instantly. then decrease to 99% to fly steady (it starts shaking when going to fast)
Have fun!

It should show even without the export. Same name as objdef, gif extension. There was a problem of it not showing sometimes in earlier versions, but it was fixed in 3722

Your info has helped me very much, thanks.
I have one more asks in addition;
if the possibility also passes the glass
to make a little matt (not so transparently)?

if you want it to be less transparent, the 4th number on the matlib will do that! if yours is set to 0.95, try 2.95! if thats not matt enough up it a bit to 4.95 and so on! ;) hope that helps!

thanks for the download! this thing is quick! got it up to 200,000ft! before i dropped out of the sky! :) though looked more like i dropped from space at that hight! :D i wonder if you can make working thrusters for space travel yet? hmmm ;)

thanks... ;)

p.s.

with the 4-number is not right.
Is closed now tried out and
Result come, that this
to these figures are responsible.
"Ax": "0.08", (more matt = 0.10+...)
"Ay": "0.08", (more matt = 0.10+...)

the material matte is controlled by m parameter... perfect matte material has m=1.0

no i ment this:

"diffuse" : "0.1,0.1,0.1,0.95",

0.1, 1st (red)
0.1, 2nd (blue)
0.1, 3rd (green)
0.95, 4th! (alpha)

so the 4th controls transparently! ;)

Am I Installing it wrong?

Ditto on the jbsim files... I can't find them anywhere. The speeder uses the Naboo one too, but theres not download for the Jbsim files of the Naboo Fighter.

Very nice stuff. A Star Wars themed total conversion for Outerra could be spectacular. Looking forward to more Star Wars and sci-fi stuff for Outerra.
