I love the last screen. The forum members are all trained by Assassins, so everything is quiet!
-
apparently.
i get almost zero response or help from members
-
Dont worry, they are all prety good and helpfull guys. Perhaps they are busy....or sleeping...or busy sleeping!
-
hey if you got a problem where i can help i'll be glad to help :D
-
Well, if I get into importing amy models, I`ll ask you. Thanks!
-
What?.. Where is JAR JAR.. We only want jar jar.
-
I thought nobody wanted Jar Jar.

I thought nobody wanted Jar Jar.
No buddy wants to admit it openly ... :D
.. nice work there, was waiting till the Star Wars fans get the hold on OT. ;)
-
This is cool! I love the screenshots! Nice models!
Marko
-
That is pretty cool, would love to see these in Outerra! :D
-
alright mate! good job! i see "anyone want this" but no download link? was this a max model? can you move his legs from the knee joint? because if the js is set up right, you could sit his feet on ground level when its still and have him put them back as he starts speeding off! the same way the foot pedals are done on the belair! just an idea though! :) nice job.
-
i would love to have moving parts. but since im a total noob to modeling i don't have a clue how to start.
retractable landing gear on a spaceship would be amazing though. i'd really want to learn it
it was actually a lightwave file. available here: http://www.scifi3d.com/list.asp?intGenreID=10&intCatID=8 (http://www.scifi3d.com/list.asp?intGenreID=10&intCatID=8)
anyway here's the download: https://mega.co.nz/#!DdQlXSYJ!DS_01yi4SuuqC8UmHpnNyUCPyEx3uTval5KW_Wg1ES8

thanks for the download! good find on that site. has some nice models. i'll take a look at the speeder file in max later.
as for landing gear, im still having a bit of trouble with that myself, but will work it out in the end! :)
-
good luck with that;)
did you try to fly it? and my naboo fighter? i wonder if they fly fine on other configurations
-
thanks. not tried the speeder yet, been busy today! will give it a go later.
yeah I used the naboo fighter yesterday and got up to 450.000ft! before my speed was 0! yes earth looks nice from space, just a shame we have no thrust controls for space yet! I then set my plane speed to max again with the ' key and was shot off far from earth! had the sun in front and earth behind! to give you an idea about how far from earth I was, earth was only twice the size of the sun! lol but then I was stuck there. my altitude reading was something like 4.325e6? what ever number that is! :)
-
first space exploration in anteworld probably;)
-
Nice, now all we need is some 3d forests to speed through! :D

Bit homogeneous but I'd like to see them in realtime! Is that a mod or an upcoming vegetation feature?

Its official but it may has changed since posted.
-
trees are probably the thing i look forward to the most. after clouds of course
-
Yeah, multiplayer, vegetation, clouds, biomes, etc. Shouldnt take long ;)
-
Okay, I'm a complete noob to this, and I have no idea what to do with the contents of the jsbsim folder on any of your aircraft. So I can't spawn any of them in.
Explain this to me like I'm 5.
-
Start Anteworld, go to the airplane tab at the top, select your plane, Spawn it!
You must have the full version though.
-
I get an error message with any aircraft by adriaan. I think it's because I have no idea where to put the contents of the jsbsim folder. What do?
-
Same problem here... I just got the game this morning and am excited to start zipping through trees! I installed the extension but the model is missing. I feel like a total noob :-\
-
You want to merge the new jbsim folder with the main one in /Anteworld.
The speeder appears inn game but the camera positions are wrong andI ended up just flying upside down at mach 4 bouncing off mountains XD
-
correct about the jsbsim folder. i have no clue how to edit camera positions. but it should fly almost like the mig. you'll need a runway
-
Yeah it doesnt handle much like a speeder XD
Maybe you could make it a ground vehicle with invisible wheels? I keep meaning to try something like that with the mech...

in the jsbsim folder you have 2 folders, aircraft and engine.
open the aircraft folder and copy the speeder folder.
now go to C:\Program Files\Outerra\Anteworld\jsbsim\aircraft folder and paste it in there with the other aircraft folders.
now open the engine folder of the speeder and copy the speederengines file.
go to C:\Program Files\Outerra\Anteworld\jsbsim\engine and paste it there with the other engines!
that should get it running, as long as you installed the speeder .otx file! ;)
-
Wow I was going straight to packages folder and didnt see jsbsim... Lol thank you all for the help!
-
Just traveled over the Himalayas! Great Mod!
-
I love this mod, but I'm having a bit of an annoying issue:
Anyone know a way to fix it, or hide the error text? It's kinda screwing with my fun :D
-
press the "p" key to close the console! ;)
-
Sweet, thanks!
-
I'm having trouble getting this mod to work. When I installed it, it shows up in the aircraft menu to spawn in, but when I click spawn, I get an error saying that it cannot find the dynamic flight model. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
-
Sorry, my problem was resolved
-
Here's the speeder in a single installable package: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2spgr2B2dvNb1JJeURsYkNQQTA/edit?usp=sharing
Added thumbnail, recoded ogg files into mono with Audacity, added jsbsim files into the package.
But this needs to be done as a vehicle.
-
thanks a lot cameni!
how can i add the jsbsim files to the otx package?
-
Added the required steps here: http://www.outerra.com/forum/index.php?topic=1778.msg21198#msg21198 (http://www.outerra.com/forum/index.php?topic=1778.msg21198#msg21198)
-
thanks a lot. had it figured out already. this way of installing mods buy opening a otx package is just beautiful.
GREAT work on that cameni!
-
The speeder is completely unusable when flying it on the ground, it just bumps around when even hitting the tiniest rock.

This is pretty fun, certainly made for some nice screenshots and some silly moments, but I have a question, is it possible to download any LW format file from this website you linked and then have the model appear in Outerra or did you have to use this process? http://xtrac.outerraworld.com/trac.fcgi/wiki/Importer (http://xtrac.outerraworld.com/trac.fcgi/wiki/Importer)
I'm just asking because I think it would so cool to import those AT-AT's and just see how they look towering above the forests but I have absolutely zero 3D modeling/modding experience so I don't know if there is an easier way or if its only possible by the process outlined in that link?
Edit: Nevermind, after looking over the link some more I realized that its a much more involved process than I naively thought otherwise, but I downloaded Collada 1.4 and I'll have a go at this myself.
