You can extract and convert the models from PS2 yourself if you want the latest versions, or there are some model packs going around.

I have a few imported to my world and they do look really nice in the engine but wholesale converting assets from other games is a bit of a legal grey area :P

Well as for users just playing around it will be fine. As long as Cameni and Pig don't include them with the default download of Outerra you can mod anything you like as long as you aren't profiting from it.
