Title: Where is my custom data (roads etc.) stored ?
Post by: leloupdujura on June 06, 2014, 08:13:12 am
Hello,

I am a newbie to Outerra (Anteworld), although I have participated in previous similar projects like Eingana or viewTerra. I bought the tech demo a few weeks ago and began trying all the tools.

I have a question about the road tool in Outerra Anteworld: when you create a vector road, is it currently stored on my computer, or on your servers ? I accidentally created an ugly piece of road through the Swiss Alps and I cannot delete it; the game keeps crashing when I try to delete THIS SPECIFIC road segment.

Best regards, and thanks for opening this amazing project to testers!  :D

It's stored locally in your OT data directory, in the cache folder. Deleting it manually is a bit problematic though - please follow the description at http://xtrac.outerraworld.com/wiki/FAQ#Howcanideleteroadsandstaticobjects (http://xtrac.outerraworld.com/wiki/FAQ#Howcanideleteroadsandstaticobjects)
