Title: placement of objects on map
Post by: Praktikantrop on June 28, 2014, 02:05:21 am
Hi all. I am wondering, how to place objects to the map by the specified coordinates. It seems possible to make with using *.bix files.
But i can't understand file format. Also, can anyone tell me about folders structure "+x", "+y", "+z" ...? Where can i get a manual or any info?
P.S. Outerra video interface is not suitable for me.
Best regards

Importer API for objects and roads is not yet ready, and the file and directory structure is temporary and will be changed soon, as we are working on getting OSM imported into OT.

Video interface - you can use other video capture tools, but you have to run outerra.exe with -allowext command line parameter in order to get them working. There may be some glitches though.

One question more
Will Outerra support generating of planets with user defined  set of trees. And will i able to add my own trees for planet generating?
