Post by: cameni on March 12, 2011, 05:10:22 pm
For those interested, there's a new interview (http://battle.no/?section=news&nid=606) we did for battle.no, a gamer community portal in Norway.

Saw some interesting screenshots I hadn't seen before in that interview as well ;).  Love it.

Unfortunately no, I took it somewhere in Himalayas just in 1280x720. Maybe I can find it again, but it's usually damn hard to happen to the same spot again :)

Good interview, love the screens, a few we haven't seen :)

But now I can't wait for the demo, I need to teach myself the art of patience!

The question is do you have THIS in 1080?

The great thing is, in the last screenshot, user objects such as vehicles don't stick out like sore thumbs like in most games, they blend in the the landscape like in real life. That would make it great for FPSs.

MOL (magical out loud) [yes I really did say that out loud]. I hesitate to run around screaming OT's name and posting links in the various troll filled forums until the demo is released. I know no matter what faq or banner is up they will all just idiotically and un-unrelentingly demand the demo.

We would like to have the demo out in few months

A few months?? That soon!?!  :D :D

You think that AMD will have most of the issues fixed by then?

BTW I am using angrypig's second image as my desktop.

Beautiful screenshots!  This scenery engine is no nice that I would be happy just to drive around in it or fly just to explore the scenery.  I wouldn't even need a mission.  Hopefully a good flight simulator is built or modified to use this scenery engine.  I was hoping X-Plane might consider it but I guess they're sticking with their current scenery.
