Wasn't there an initiative once to gather all this stuff in one place and categorize it?

Keeping track of models is beginning to get a little wild, and the situation can only get worse unless some organization is implemented early.........

I Would love to add everyones work to my model library at camdavre.com.

I would just want to get the okay from the importers first.

I eidité a video to help identify houses gramofonomanek, while averted my outstanding textures errors and mipmapping (increased speed rendering)

http://youtu.be/qwM7Bzc9bKk

-Photoshop CS5
-NVIDIA Texture Tools for Adobe Photoshop: Photoshop plugin that can open and save dds textures.
https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop
(https://www.imageshost.eu/images/2015/02/22/NVIDIAddsFormatV.8.23.jpg)

PROCESS
-for The first texture
-Open Texture with photoshop> "Load using default sizes" and "Load MIP Maps"
'I may appear a warning message missing profile:> No change (do not color management)
He will open an image without mipmaps
-File> Save as file -sobreescribir
-In The window Nvidia dds format select the following and save:
· DXT5 ARG 8bpp / interpolated Alpha
· 2d texture
· Generate MipMaps activated-Close File
-Back To open the texture with photoshop> "Load using default sizes" and "Load MIP Maps"
Now'll see how were created Mipmaps.

aWac9, I would recommend you to save the textures as DXT1 | no alpha instead of DTX5, because Outerra doesn't make use of alpha channel from albedo textures, and you will save half memory in textures.

I concur. I went and mipmapped the living crap out of everything in sight in outerra using paint.net (have to use an early version for it to work) and its bulk editing plugin. Took maybe ten minutes to do my entire Outerra folder.

http://filehippo.com/download_paint.net/15781/

Note: DO NOT ALLOW IT TO UPDATE TO VERSION 4!! THE BULK EDIT TOOL WON"T WORK WITH HIGHER VERSIONS!!

As always, back up your crap, first!
