There was an older version of the model once a part of the alpha ... had some issues with loads of verts and some manipulation as i remember it.

Huh,  I did not know there was once one in the alpha.  It's from Dec 2010.

The model I used is from Foundation 3D.  Very nice model I used to learn about baking maps and then I got the solar panels to turn back and forth.  I remember it was very hard to get it up into space and then record it.  You cant just simply place in orbit.

I like those water bags ... theyre deform so interestilngly in space ... cant imagine doing a 3D model of the interior - there are quite a lot of small things and a LOT of cargo everywhere. ... and if ya liked to have half of it functional !

NASA has a collection of 3D models of many spacecraft, including the ISS

They ca be downloaded for free from their website.

I made my own a year or so ago but I think the model of mine was from somewhere else.
