Here is a short preview how external view on planes looks like. Yes it is a crazy landing and it is against all rules* don't blame me for that...but it is so much fun to do such things. :D

love how the shadow of the plane rolls over the surface. truly nextgen! im so looking forward to add content to your ngine/game/sim or whatever your plan is to do with it. (im keeping myself bussy with JOSM in the hope that all this data one day can be visualized with your awesome engine

Great Eye Candy AP!, I still get "wowed" by the lovely progressive shading in the forestry and the quality of those "placeholder" trees. That was a pretty cool landing especialy as the road is so undulating. Just as a matter of interest I cant think of any mainstream flight sims in use today that allow you to create a sloped or undulating runway surface, another wow factor chalked up to Outerra. You just cant beat it :-)). Pity you did not show the "numbers" for that landing because the airspeed data and control inputs would have said a lot about the qualiy of the flight model physics.

By the way, how are your tree modelling activities coming along?
