Title: How about a remote control camera view/ tower view?

With previous builds it was possible by hitting esc and entering sandbox mode (no stop box ticked) to roam or taxi around with a vehicle or plane. It was kind of remote control camera with, of course, manually mouse panned view. Was really fun with the starlet.
Now with version .5171 it does not work anymore. In sandbox you are no more in control of the vehicle.
Are there any plans to implement such a view (with automatic camera pan)?
Maybe with a follow up function after a certain distance.

Hmm, do you mean it was possible to control vehicles while the camera was stationed elsewhere? Never tried that :)

Before the famous cloudy update it was indeed possible. Camera was fixed (at that point you hit esc) and tracking done with mouse.
