Title: OpenStreetMap - Rail Data Export

So, I want to yank out a big piece of Rail Data to use for N3V`s Trainz.

While there is an export function in OSM, it won`t cover the are I want. The place is quite big. 8,320.3 sq miles big!
And I want all the available rail data on it. There`s no need for stations, bridges and stuff, just the routes the track follows.

Any ideas?

ALSO: Any sources of 30m DEM for Greece would be much appreciated
