Title: Key bindings with Xbox controller not working

I didn't ever manage to get key bindings working for free flight movement, strafe, climb... with xbox 360/One controller.
What am I doing wrong?
It's quite annoying in vr to use the keyboard, so Cameni please give me a hint.
