Title: Object rendering issues
Post by: Revolver on March 19, 2019, 04:10:08 pm
Hello,

with the new patch have massive problems with fullscreen setting and graphics. It does not settle at all whatever I do(restart to apply no longer works) .
Textures appear blurred, as if holding the frosted glass in front of the textures. Several times a new installation has not changed anything. Can I somehow undercut the download of this patch?

Hi Brano,

Look here :

(https://i.postimg.cc/jCzs1WD3/screen-1553028614.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/jCzs1WD3)

not even the right / complete color is shown here ...could this be due to the new NVIDIA driver?

Not sure what I should see. Maybe an environment map problem, alt+F8 refresh? Do you have an older screen for comparison?

There are also two dlls injecting into OT:
Code: [Select]
C:\Program Files (x86)\360\Total Security\safemon\safemon.dll (Qihu 360 Software Co., Ltd., 360 Internet Security), version 8, 4, 0, 1440
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ExSrv.dll (Unknown Company, TestOISA Dynamic Link Library), version 5, 0, 14, 515

No, unfortunately I do not have the other screens for comparison. The two DLL's are from Antivir-Proga ... at the previous patch everything was OK.

hmmm...moment pls...

here old screen : (http://www2.pic-upload.de/thumb/31969601/screen_1477295795.jpg) (http://www.pic-upload.de/view-31969601/screen_1477295795.jpg.html)

same Time 12:00 ...but as you can see, no contrast and correct hue ... everything as blurry ...

and in the Settings can not change anything ... as soon as I start new everything is back to the old = 0.  =|

I note that pixel "snowflakes" are present on the windows of the house rendered with the new outerra version. Same problem that I have on the Cessna windows. Pixel
snowflakes on any shiny/transparent surface seems. Same on outerra default house windows. (also after disabling my antivirus)

Ah OK after ALT+F8 pixel snowflakes on windows disappear !  Only problem: each time I start outerra pixel-snow reappears on windows and I have to do ALT+F8 each time. Also I noted that the start-screen onf outerra now for a fraction of a second displays kind of "snow-pixels on black background" which was not there before. maybe the two things are related ?

"same Time 12:00 ...but as you can see, no contrast and correct hue ... everything as blurry ..."
The shadow looks different... same time but perhaps different date? How it looks if you try to match the shadows, remove the clouds and alt+f8?

Nothing changes at Alt + F8 ... if something had changed, I would have written that .... is logical ... nÖ  ;)
OT can now no longer start ... everything stops after logging and OT crashes...argggg >:(

Do you have debug_keys = true in eng.cfg? Not sure if alt+f8 works without them.

Also, can you send crash report again? The first one shows some confusing info ...

No, there is = false. (it does not bring that anyway, since OT crashed)

I sent a BUG report when the BUG Report window opened ... or should I still pack and send to the RaR archive?

No, just send another one from the bug report window.

OK, is gone out...

p.s. can you tell me how i can stop patching so i can rule it out that it is due to patching? ::)

You can use -noupdate command line argument.

You can use -noupdate command line argument.

Can you please be a bit precise, where exactly should I write something (File-? etc)... Thank you! :)

Have now installed again and patched up to Patch 1.0.9891. OT starts again, but rendering still does not work, as it was in the old patch. Something has changed ... do not know what. =|

This is how it looks like:

(https://i.postimg.cc/GBqQvYF5/screen-1553106001.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/GBqQvYF5)  (https://i.postimg.cc/CnDkrf8Y/screen-1553107556.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/CnDkrf8Y)

(pay attention to the corners and sides of the gun cabinet, as well as moorings ... there everything is covered with glossy wax, though - roughness = 1.0)

And that is how it is supposed to be :

(https://i.postimg.cc/QKSZmWvd/WS.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/QKSZmWvd)

...... and when printing Alt + F8 does not happen ... everything stays the same.

Looks like changed environment settings. In F11 env settings, are you on default values?

Hi, Revolver! Could you send me one of those models (package) to check how it looks for me? (send me a p.m., please)

Hi Amigo!

what do you mean by model? Would you like 3d max file, or otx file? I can send you both, but I do not think that's because of otx-file, but anyway before rendering from OT.
Because before (in other patch) everything had been OK ... nÖ  ;)

Wait a minute ... I pack everything in rar-archive and send you to ... :)

That last one is broken due lack of mipmaps in the albedo texture...

The other houses look right to me, except for    G_Haus_Nr4.Revolver   Could you send me your .fbx for that one, please (is not in the .zip)

I tested it in other build and also looks bad at distance... check those .dds (albedo)... do not have mipmaps...

I could not find something wrong in your houses... The think is that, so far,  I don't see that in any of my models. I'll keep an eye on it.
