I loved playing MW2 when I was younger, but I was never able to play any of the others.  Also, I'm not sure I like the look of these mechs.  I like the originals, but I guess they might not use them if this is a reboot.  There was this MechWarrior Full Debut Trailer [HD] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orhOvbfyyJw#ws) by the same developer as MechWarrior Online, but then there was a legal battle over the use of the mechs and I don't know how it turned out.  I guess this might not be coming out.

Also, I'm assuming you know about MechWarrior: Living Legends Mechwarrior: Living Legends - Thunder Ridge Full Round (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qClewV5Y4-c#)

I haven't gotten to play it yet.  Just recently got a new computer.

Yeah I know all about both actually.. MWLL is pretty awesome indeed.. Played it for a wile until they decided to change the game to crysis wars. and sense I don't have the expansion for crysis I can't play lol..

As for the new game MW:O, I myself am very excited and look forword to seeing how the game turns out. It has been over 10 years sense a new mech warrior come out. And this one seems very promising to me.

My first was EarthSiedge - A really good one for that time, maybe thats the reason, why i did not played other ones so much. Its a little bit else experience, when you started from it ...

Still, I know its the main reason for the game to be atractive, but, doesnt it seem to you guys a little odd, that they use manual control at that age, when nowdays canons, heavy MG´s and cameras are able to track and stabilize, whyte corrections to movement of the target and they own ? :D :D
Or the absence of a Ch-30 anti-ship/radar kind of missle/weapons specialized for mechs ? :D Guess thats the reason for small airsupport and lack of helicopter-substituents in that kind of game. But, would be really a kicking thing to have it at that realistic and hard level.  8)

Realism is over rated lol.. Actually the reason why is because BattleTech is almost 30 years old. Back then they did not know about them kinds of things.. But from what I understand the devs of the game is going to give the game a more updated feel. But then again 1000s of years in the future technology from the past could be lost. And things could very well be forgotten about/unknown at the time.
