This short video shows our main menu with graphics and controls config. Currently we are finishing version for beta testing and and if everything goes right we will release it.

Just .... wow!
A very improved design, with some much needed controls. I'm very impressed!
-
Looking very good....
Now hurry and get it out the door!!! :0
-
Starting to get excited now. Not that I wasn't before, but i'm really looking forward to buying Outerra.
-
Yay! Looking forward to this more than anything else right now (pc wise :) )
-
OMG I want play now !!!!! How much time left ? 1 week ?
-
Looks like it's going to the best video "game" ever...Already in the very first publicly available version. Now THAT is friggin' awesome!
-
It's cool that there's multiple VSync settings. I never see that other than occasionally in hidden tweaks. Though I was thinking that some people who get higher framerates and have a higher refresh rate might want 120fps or something for stereoscopic 3D or something, though I'm not an expert on it. I've still got a 60Hz screen. :-\
-
Wow it looks really great. Job well done.

Stereoscopic 3D needs to be handled in a different way. But given that Nvidia doesn't support stereoscopic rendering with OpenGL on consumer graphics cards anyway, we will probably only support stereoscopic 3D with displays with passive 3D tech, like LG's D2342P (http://www.lg.com/ae/it-products/3d-commercial-monitors/LG-3d-monitors-D2342P.jsp). Apart from not needing a special SW, they have some other advantages too - no flickering, lightweight glasses, the rendering can be optimized so it's not a 2X performance loss in comparison to mono rendering.

Awesome, but I would love to have the importer. Will the Google Maps on the right bottom be on the demo?(with waypoints)
-
Importer will come in the updates after the alpha release of the game. Google maps are there, but the waypoints aren't shown on the map yet, just your current position. Editing tools will be only in the game, in the demo people can only explore the world and the existing locations (or ones that other people make).
-
I will be sure to give this menu hell when we get hold of it. See how well binding to my three input devices goes.
-
Yeah, thats a good point. I have an old xbox1 steering wheel + pedals hooked up to my pc, however the foot pedals are setup a little weird. It would be great if I could change around their raw input so they work properly.
-
If you look closely at the video you can see the waves lapping up to the shoreline :D
-
So the importer will only come to the game? The demo is just the Tatra and the Cessna for exploration and no building?
-
We'll release a single application, the game will have a demo mode with a full planet to explore, ufo (free camera) mode and truck. People who like it and want to support us and further development can buy the game in alpha state (at a discount), getting access to the tools and the vehicles. They'll also get access to regular updates, the importer shall be one of the first coming after the release.
-
Sounds like a good plan to me. Day 1 buy for me :)

:) I have a D2542P Monitor. But I think the Support for Outerra is far in the Future. IsnĀ“t it?

I hope not. I have D2342P :)
