Title: Use free Star Trek models in promo shots
Post by: zzz on March 01, 2012, 12:30:28 pm
Many people think of a space sim when they see Outerra and being able to take one of Star Trek's behemoths down planetside would really highlight the engine's potential.

There are many open-source hi-res ship models freely available and many of the authors allow them to be converted to any game so long as credit is given.

Can you imagine seeing an Intrepid class hanging 1000ft in the air at night with its engines glowing?
