I don't know how many here are familiar with the concept of the now abandoned multi-player air combat simulation called "Targetware" (http://www.targetware.net/index.php (http://www.targetware.net/index.php)), but I thought it would be a great idea for the Outerra game engine.
The developers of Outerra would provide the game engine, the community provides the content. The way I see it working is registered users would pay a small monthly fee to play this unnamed multi-player game. You could invite those groups who have developed content for Targetware to move their work to Outerra.
I always liked this game concept and much development of content was done by many contributors to Targetware, just browse their website.
