I tried zooming and it didn't work :/ can someone tell me the coordinates? and also how to auto transport to them? I don't know much about this game I just bought it a few days ago

The image is too small, lat/lon coordinates aren't decipherable.

To transport there, you'd enter them in F2 location dialog.

Oh thank you, by the way, when using the overclocking tool EVGA Precision X to watch my framerate, it always does something weird, Vector 3D causes windows in vehicles to gray out, only the sun shining through them, without showing fps, and the 2D freezes it, the raster makes a bunch of.. weird graphic effects, it's interesting but extremely annoying as it remains until you close the game and open it back up.

These kinds of utilities inject into the rendering loop of OT and apparently can't recover all the state properly. It's a problem of these utilities - I'd suggest reporting the bug to the creators, and the best is to avoid them completely.

Frame rate can be shown directly in OT via ctrl+F12

Hey all,

Well I made it to hell but not what I expected, I could still see heaven through the hole :-) Sorry about the image size it was a rush job. This forum doesn't accept very big file sizes which doesn't help the cause.

Here are the coordinates, See screenshot.

Here's a feature that will be useful: in some future version we are going to embed the location info directly into screenshot files (as EXIF in JPG or a comment in PNG). We will then add a context handler into Windows, so that there will be "Open in Outerra" available when right-clicking on the image. When Outerra is invoked this way, it will jump directly to the location as indicated in the image file.

Great idea, now I haven't seen that done before.

Great news! This feature would be also great for presenting future (addon) sceneries.

It wouldn't be easier to add handling of links like anteworld://teleport/lat/lon? It would be really nice feature :)

wouldn't be wise to integrate the notion of user-defined "control points" and "flight path" :
- control points are defined by position = 3 coord (lat, long, altitude) AND orientation = also 3 coord
- adding another 3 coord for the viewing direction / camera looking at...
- flight paths are interpolated curves between successive control points (with several interpolation methods possible between the vectors)

then you could also associate a "speed" notion, with constant speed along the trajectory, and speed setpoint (speed at control points)...

doing so you get the minimum needed : location + look-at,
plus more powerful things

So, I guess this means we can have underground environments? :p
