refueling in outerra
« on: May 07, 2013, 06:50:41 pm »

Is there a way to refuel in outerra as I ran out of fuel when I was flying the mig-29 yesterday? Thanks!

hmm... good question, I have never flown long enough to run out of fuel. However, my last video depicts a different story where fuel was leaking from the tanks  ;D

Do you suppose it's a fuel leak bug? Thanks!

Could be or it could be that the aircraft custom script has parameters in it that determine the fuel load and burn. i think this is a question for Brano or someone that has knowledge of the aircraft script to tell you this.

I knew that Airplane (Cessna's) engine was cutting of on high altitude due to lack of air (Till some point can be compromised with mixture, but still).
But haven't  experienced fuel leaks. :)

Yes, jsbsim aircrafts in Outerra use fuel, but we can't refuel them yet, though probably we can do that in the script.

I don't know that myself yet :) Theoretically should be possible.

Making a kind of refueling system in OT would be cool. ... For the airfields just like the DCS Worlds tanker-trucks coming to you for a few seconds, for cars we could make gas stations/pumps, or just canisters (you have to get out of the car, get it, come back and just push some special button to use it). I just hope, no one would try to drive the canisters/barrels over (yes, the first thing to do in a game whyte flammable stuff barrels).  ;D
