I had an idea a while ago about a game where players would manage a national park. This would entail an isometric view where the players can create trails and place objects/buildings in the park. The goal would be to run a successful park by earning enough money to stay afloat and build improvements but also to appease certain factions of people. These factions for example would be things like environmentalists, hunters, or energy corporations. Obviously it would be impossible to keep everyone happy but that would be the decisions you would have to make. I thought the Outerra engine might be a good fit for this type of game due to its ability to render very realistic looking environments on a large scale. Its support for landscape physics could also be useful for terraforming custom maps. If anyone has any suggestions for another engine in which to build a game like this id be happy to hear.
