      Been away awhile, bought new PC (Dell XPS8700-4319 Desktop Computer, Intel Core i7-4700, 12GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 645 1.0GB GDDR5).
I installed old version "Anteworld-0.7.13.3519" thinking it would automatically update to newest version. When it did not I downloaded
your patch "0.8.0.4152" and tried insalling "manually" as you suggested. Upon reopening- the sim crashed and would not load- not sure
if I'm installimg the patch correctly or not-could you please advise how this is done or further what to do..

Just install the full version from http://demo.outerra.com (0.8.0.4301 as of now).
And to be sure, delete the eng.cfg, world.cfg and campos/earth/default.cam files from the Outerra data directory first.

If it still doesn't work, move the whole Outerra data directory away and do a clean install.

Not sure what you mean- I paid for a "non-demo" full version sometime back and simply want to update from the older "Anteworld-0.7.13.3519" full version to the present.  As I mentioned since it would not update from the older to the newer version automatically,  I've completely removed the older "Anteworld-0.7.13.3519" from my drive to start over and do a clean install, simplifying the matter.  Could you point me to the non demo "full" present downloadable version of your work?

He linked a full install of the most recent version. Just overwrite all that you have OR delete all that you have and re-install.

hi there,
outerra suddendly stopt working after incremental patch,i downloaded the latest version,i did a clean install,but it seems like it's in a loop with the update
when i start outerra and log in,it wants to update,then it goes to prompt and that's all ok,just like it did with previous updates,but now it doesn't continue the procces,literly it shows "Waiting for the original process (3544) to end .. "
but it never finishes the update procces :S
how can i resolve this issue?

It keeps waiting for the original process forever? If so, please run task manager and kill outerra.exe there. Some driver versions block it from quitting correctly.

no,when i start outerra, it wants to apply the Anteworld-0.8.1.4480.patch-4495.exe but it doesn't seem it finish that process,with the previous install it always applied the patch correctly and went to game

i downloaded this version: Anteworld-0.8.1.4480,i asumed from this thread that i be better off to download the latest version and do a clean install,but it stil wants to aplpy this patch Anteworld-0.8.1.4480.patch-4495.exe,it's located in C:\Users\FAT69\outerra\update\appdata\Anteworld
what i don't understand is that the situation is excactly the same is it was before i have outerra main on D: drive and Outerra scratch on H: drive
wich is a different drive but that shouldn't be the problem as it was perfectly working before,and i start outerra with admin,even with norton virus scanner turned off,it doesn't work

stil hanging on prompt,it doesn't apply the latest patch somehow,so it keeps hanging on waiting for origional procces to end,unless it takes way longer then i expect,but that's very unlikely i supose

Did you kill the old outerra.exe in the Task Manager? The installer should continue after the old exe vanishes from there.

yes,i stopt the outerra.exe in task manager,then started outerra,but stil it doesn't apply the latest patch so it keeps hanging in promt like an endless loop
