You could try to set daytime-multiplier in world.cfg  between 0 and 1(with write protection). In previous builds it was possible to modify ingame with time flow multiplier below 1.

Was looking to see if we could manipulate the internal jsbsim wind properties through the cloud properties.

Those aren't connected yet. Isn't it possible to set JSBSim wind properties from aircraft script?

Yes it's possible, was just looking for direction and speed so as to match up.

whilst we're on the subject for float planes  I also need property values for

current from degs
wave from degs
wave amplitude ft
wave length ft

and water level .....yes the sea will be zero but a lake wont be..

environmental data quite important here
