Release!?

Hi,,

For several years, I looked at your engine. It seems ready to release, but still no release planned. Expect an offer from a major publisher?
It's frustrating. : (

As in most games in the industry: "It will be released when it's released."

And although it looks good from the videos and screenshots, don't equate that to ready for release.  ATI driver issues aside, I'm sure Cameni and Angrypig are still refining the engine and chasing after elusive bugs.

Um, several years would be 2, actually.
What makes you think it's ready to release? With the lots of features that are still missing .. we cannot release it as an engine yet. We can only release a tech demo and preorderable alpha-game that will evolve together with the engine, and that's what we are going to do.

This might be a random question, but I was just wondering, any chances of a Mac OS X version?

In the future yes, especially after there's now support for OpenGL 3.2 (we still need some stuff from 3.3 though).
Most of the code is portable, the only part is some asynchronous code that is specific for Windows and will have to be done differently on Mac/Linux.
