Guadalcanal never resolves, causes crash
« on: March 03, 2012, 12:48:38 pm »

Guadalcanal in the solomon islands never resolves past the most basic detail and when I jump or fly to it, all other tiles disappear from the globe and outerra usually crashes shortly afterwards.

Is anyone else able to go there and test to see if this is just me?

Weird.  Guadalcanal is fine for me.

rubbish, did you make some roads/buildings there? Another possible cause would be the bittorrent download of the whole data that's not finished.

Maybe a bit of code can be added so that when a terrain bug occurs it forces a sector update from the server? for that sector that bugged?

It was unfinished data, I deleted all the partially completed pieces in the torrent and all is now well :)
