Below are a few more ideas that i think could suit the base platform:

1) 3d clouds, no sprites.
2) Bridges (maybe part of vector land classification)
3) Marinas
4) Power pylons (maybe part of vector land classification)
5) Random smoke (chimney or backyard fires) from rural properties

questions:

Will trees, shrubs, and other foliage be regional? If so then, for example there could be a tree classification. Feel free to use NZ as a testbed for this as we have many many different types of trees here.

Will you be able to add shelter belts to the land class and also street lights running along the roads.

How will the land class be sourced, will it be up to date?
