how to make roads in UFO mode
« on: August 01, 2012, 02:53:12 am »

Hi there. I just finished watching this video:

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to create roads while in ufo mode like what is done in the video.

It was how the roads were done initially. However, that mode is still possible, but you have to have the road tool on. Then you can fly above the terrain, pressing key 'b' where you want the road node to be.

I see. How do I fly above the terrain with the road editor being open?

I was actually going to mention this separately but here will do. I am an Arrow Keys User (Yeah shut up) and I was wondering why ANY assigned movement key doesn't work with the road editor / model placer engaged? I would love to eventually get a Noviet Falcon for UFO movement.
