what program you use for making planes
« on: September 07, 2010, 10:24:52 pm »

i want to know what are you using to make the planes i mean do you use 3ds max or using maya or maybe you gmax like flight simulater i mean to be put in the game like flight simulator you cant make a plane in 3ds max and put it into the engine however you must create it in gmax or convert your model from 3d max to gmax to put into the engine.
and im currently making planes for flight simulator then will we be able to do that in your engine i mean i can make my own plane and put it into the game or only the planes and vechiles you make.
thanks for this great engine.

We don't make the planes ourselves, the one that is there we bought and had it adjusted by professional modeler.
We are using Blender for other stuff.

It's possible that in the demo you'll be able to import your own models in Collada format.

I don't really wanna push you to do anything your not already doing but I was wondering if you guys have been making the physics engine so it respects the forces of aerodynamics or is it too soon to elaborate?

We are using JSBSim for flight dynamics, one of FDMs used in FlightGear as well.
