Recently I went to load Anteworld and was given this error:

Cannot open device "\\.\PhysicalDrive0"!

There have been no changes to my system since I ran the program last. I uninstalled the program, downloaded the latest, installed and received the same error. None of the other programs on this drive fail to load and run.

Any suggestions?

Hmm, do you have Windows account with administration privileges? Also, please post or email (support @ outerra.com) us the entire eng.log.

Ha! Not sure how it happened but the shortcut was not set up to 'Run as administrator'. Once this was reset, or set considering I have no idea how this problem occurred, I was able to run Anteworld.

Lately these little things have just caused me no end of grief. I have become so mired in the more complex issues with almost everything around me that the simple things catch me off guard.

Yea, we should detect this and display a corresponding message, to avoid these kinds of problems ...

Hi, I have an error too. I give you a picture :

That's a Nvidia driver bug, please roll back to 335.23 drivers or wait for a fix/workaround. Nvidia found what code failed in their drivers, and it should be possible for us to implement a workaround now, until they issue a patch.
