Wierd rendering issues!
« on: February 09, 2016, 07:06:00 pm »

Hello!
I've just downloaded Outerra to try it out again, however when I get into the game all the textures are purple and wierd.
See image https://www.dropbox.com/s/cn668l5fap7kkv2/Screenshot%202016-02-10%2001.03.23.png?dl=0

I've run the game before, so it should not be because of my computer.
I have a GTX 960 2gb and a i5-4460 @ 3.2ghz.

We will have a detection and a workaround in the next build. The workaround isn't nice as it basically throws away mipmaps on the problematic textures, resulting in trees and terrain having some noise, but it's better than the purple mess.

Nvidia acknowledged the problem and they are working on a fix.

Thanks guys, my bad for not searching enough before posting.
Fixed it by going some versions back driverwise.
