I wasn't sure if it was a known bug or not.
All I did with the game so far was launch the UFO off the ground and straight into the sun for about 4 hours at the fastest setting. I never even got close to the sun... When I set the location back on Earth, it had gained the power to move through the ground at times, and many square patches of the ground disappear at random. It's persisting after restarting the game and my computer.
On a side note, your forums complain when I try to add the eng.log to the post (max 20,000 characters) and also when I try to upload it as an attachment (max 128kb). So I found a service to host it:
