Remember also, that FRAMES AREN'T EVERYTHING!- Immersion isn't simple a FPS reading.....FSX'ers often forget this (it is often said that the framerate counter in FSX is the biggest hindrance to true performance- Because it is there, people focus on it too much and use that alone to judge the 'performance' of the Sim)

the most important factor is a steady constant framerate.
Second most important is that this framerate is high enough.

frametime of 16 is 60 fps and it works good, 30 is okay too. At least: if it's 30 all the time.

Sorry Timmo but I must contest your view that frame rates arnt everything..... NOTHING IS MORE DESTRUCTIVE to an interactive experience that having stutter, stalls, and jerky graphics, its absolutely a GAME BREAKER.
